Health & Safety Policy
Recon acknowledges it is imperative to provide employees with a safe and healthy place in which to work. It is company policy to ensure that no harm will come to any employee, contractor or other person as a result of any action or inaction on the part of the company, its employees or contractors.
In providing this environment Recon has established a Health and Safety Committee whose role is to
a) Encourage employee participation in identifying hazards and developing and maintaining safety procedures;
b) Promote health and safety in the workplace, by providing employees with information and training in health and safety;
c) Actively work to eliminate the number of serious accidents and injuries that occur in the workplace.
Recon aims to maintain these high standards of health and safety in the workplace and observe all the necessary legal requirements.
The responsibility and accountability for health and safety issues rests with Recon’s General Manager, and through his delegated authority, to the managers and supervisors of Recon.
