Recon is happy to announce the renewal of the Safe City Ambassador security contract with the Hutt City Council!
Recon’s Safe City Ambassadors will continue to patrol the streets of Lower Hutt on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night to help keep the community safe.
Their role is to look out for people’s safety when they go to their cars or catch public transport home; make people feel more comfortable when they are out at night; look out for community criminal activity and report this to the Police for action; provide presence on the streets that prevents crime; and report any property damage to the Council.
This community safety initiative programme is an amazing resource for the community, all thanks to our mobile security patrol, the Safe City Ambassador, for continuing to keep the city of Lower Hutt safe and enjoyable for everyone.
