The weather gods, unfortunately, did not give this year’s Wellington Wine and Food Festival any favour, and the Wellington City Council had to cancel Saturday and Sunday’s festivities because of heavy rain. Despite getting thousands of disappointed foodies, the Friday night event went off without a hitch!
The Wellington Wine and Food Festival held at the Waitangi Park Waterfront brings together the best of local food, wine and craft beer the wider Wellington region has to offer. It also offers entertainment by Wellington (and New Zealand’s) top musicians.
Recon Security was proud to provide security for this year’s event where the team did an excellent job on Friday with the overall crowd control. All client requests were met, no issues reported and were extremely pleased with the service Recon has provided.
